Stavir 40 Mg Capsule is an antiviral medicine which is used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. Stavir 40 Mg medicine is not a cure for HIV. Stavir 40 Mg only prevents the virus from multiplying in your body. Monitoring of kidney function may be necessary while receiving this medicine based on the clinical condition.

How To Take
Take Stavir 40 Mg medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stavir 40 Mg Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.

Stavir 40 Mg Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. Stavir 40 Mg Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Stavir 40 Mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Stavir 40 Mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking Stavir 40 Mg Capsule. You may need to stop taking this medicine.
