Singulair 5 Mg Tablet is used to treat asthma, hay fever and seasonal allergy symptoms. It prevents asthma attacks and breathing problems caused by exercise. It works by blocking leukotriene which in turn decreases certain asthma and allergic symptoms.

How To Take
You should take take Singulair 5 Mg Tablet, once daily in the evening, 1 hour before or 2 hours after food, continually for as long as recommended by your doctor. Chew your Singulair 5 Mg Tabletthoroughly and swallow. You should continue to take your Singulair 5 Mg Tabletfor asthma even if you feel better, as it is intended as a long-term medication to help control your asthma.

Pregnancy = Singulair 5 Mg Tabletis probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation = Singulair 5 Mg Tabletis probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving = Singulair 5 Mg Tabletmay make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney = Singulair 5 Mg Tabletis safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Singulair 5 Mg Tablet is recommended.
Liver = Singulair 5 Mg Tabletshould be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Singulair 5 Mg Tabletmay be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on the use of Singulair 5 Mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
Singulair 5 Mg Tablet are used for treatment of asthma in children aged 6 to 14, including management of chronic asthma, preventing exacerbations of asthma, day-time and night-time symptoms and exercise-induced asthma, and to prevent but not treat asthma attack.
Singulair 5 Mg Tablet are also used to treat allergy in children aged 6 to 14, including, seasonal allergy to pollen (hay fever) and perennial allergy, such as to animal fur, mould and house dust mites.
