Simvotin 5 Mg
Simvotin 5 Mg Tablet is used to reduce the level of bad cholesterol in the body. It is also used in the treatment of long-term complications such as heart disease or stroke. A proper diet and regular exercise should be maintained along with taking this medicine.
Simvotin 5 Mg Tablet is present in a cluster of drugs known as ‘statins’. It helps in reducing levels of triglycerides and LDL, also referred to as ‘bad cholesterol’ in the blood and increasing the concentration of HDL (High Density lipoprotein, also called ‘good cholesterol’). Other complications of a heart attack, stroke and associated risk factors can be mitigated in people who suffer from diabetes or other coronary disorders. This drug can be used in case of adults as well as children (who should at least be 10 years old).
Though rare, intake of Simvotin 5 Mg Tablet can damage the muscle tissues of the skeletal system, thus causing kidney failure. Seek timely medical attention if you happen to experience tenderness, muscle pain or weakness accompanied by a fever, unusual fatigue and urine that’s dark in color.
