Ramipres 2.5 Mg provides treatment for high blood pressure by inhibiting ACE (angiotensin converting enzyme) so as to relax the arteriole smooth muscle and reduce peripheral resistance. This causes the blood vessels to become wider, and because the blood is able to be pumped through widened arteries, a drop in blood pressure occurs. Use of this drug can also lessen the risk of cardiovascular events and the need for surgery (such as that used for revascularisation). Other uses include treating congestive heart failure, diabetic nephropathy and any disorders deemed necessary by your doctor.
