Pramipex 1 Mg
Pramipex 1 Mg Tablet is a dopamine agonist. It treats the signs and symptoms associated with Parkinson disease. It is also used as a remedy for restless legs syndrome (RLS). It improves cases of stiffness, shakiness and unsteadiness. This medication functions by restoring the dopamine balance in the brain.
On using Pramipex 1 Mg Tablet you may experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, trouble with sleeping/ swallowing, increased urge to urinate, diarrhoea, swelling, cough, fatigue, headache, constipation, drying of the mouth, drowsiness, clouded thoughts and dizziness. Seek medical help if your reactions continue or become more severe over time.
Before using Pramipex 1 Mg Tablet tell your doctor if you have any allergies in general, if you are allergic to any ingredient contained within this medication, if you have low blood pressure/ heart/ kidney/ mood/ sleep disorders, irregular heartbeat, if you are taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs, you are pregnant or are breastfeeding a baby or if you are alcoholic.

How To Take
Read the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you start taking Pramipex 1 Mg and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Take Pramipex 1 Mg Tablet by mouth with or without food, as directed by your doctor. Taking this medication with food may reduce nausea. To decrease the risk of side effects (e.g., drowsiness, low blood pressure) when you first start taking Pramipex 1 Mg, your doctor will slowly increase your dosage until the best dose for you is reached. Take this medication as prescribed. Do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed.
Use Pramipex 1 Mg Tablet regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same times each day.
If you stop taking Pramipex 1 Mg Tablet for several days, you may need to increase your dose slowly back to your previous dosage. Talk with your doctor about how to restart the medication. Do not stop taking this medication without your doctor's approval. Although very unlikely, if you suddenly stop taking this drug, withdrawal reactions may occur. Such reactions can include fever, muscle stiffness, and confusion. Report any such reactions to your doctor right away. If you have Parkinson's disease and are stopping regular treatment with this drug, gradually reducing the dosage as directed will help prevent withdrawal reactions. Pramipex 1 Mg may cause you to fall asleep suddenly while doing activities. This may happen without warnings signs, such as drowsiness. Talk to your doctor about driving, using machinery, or doing other activities that require alertness while you take this drug.
Pramipex 1 Mg can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea, sweating, or fainting, especially when you stand up quickly from a sitting or lying down position. This is more likely to occur when you first start taking this drug. To reduce your risk, move slowly when you stand up. These side effects may go away over time.
You may have increased urges to gamble, binge eat, or engage in sexual behaviors while taking this drug. If this happens, tell your doctor. They may decrease your dosage or have you stop taking this drug.
Pramipex 1 Mg may cause you to have hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that aren’t real) or changes in your behavior. You may feel confused, agitated, or aggressive. If this happens, tell your doctor. They may decrease your dosage or have you stop taking this drug.
Pramipex 1 Mg is used alone or with other medications to treat Parkinson's disease. It can improve your ability to move and decrease shakiness (tremor), stiffness, slowed movement, and unsteadiness. It may also decrease the number of episodes of not being able to move ("on-off syndrome").
Pramipex 1 Mg is also used to treat a certain medical condition (restless legs syndrome - RLS) that causes an unusual urge to move the legs. Symptoms usually occur at night along with uncomfortable/unpleasant feelings in the legs. This medication can decrease these symptoms and thereby improve sleep.
Pramipex 1 Mg is a dopamine agonist that works by helping to restore the balance of a certain natural substance (dopamine) in the brain.
