Pomalid 4 Mg
Pomalid 4 Mg is a drug which is usually taken along with other drugs like Dexamethasone. Pomalidomide is generally used in patients with Myeloma and who have tried other medication (at least two) which did not work for them. It is a cancer drug which also goes by the brand name in Pomalid 4 Mg.

How To Take
Take Pomalid 4 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.

Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils)
Low blood platelets
Before taking Pomalid 4 Mg, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to thalidomide or lenalidomide; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
Before using Pomalid 4 Mg, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, cigarette smoking, heart disease (such as heart attack), blood clots, stroke.
Pomalid 4 Mg can make you more likely to get infections or may worsen any current infections. Therefore, wash your hands well to prevent the spread of infection. Avoid contact with people who have infections that may spread to others (such as chickenpox, measles, flu). Consult your doctor if you have been exposed to an infection or for more details.
Do not have immunizations/vaccinations without the consent of your doctor. Avoid contact with people who have recently received live vaccines (such as flu vaccine inhaled through the nose).
To lower the chance of getting cut, bruised, or injured, use caution with sharp objects like razors and nail cutters, and avoid activities such as contact sports.
Pomalid 4 Mg is used along with dexamethasone to treat a type of blood cancer known as multiple myeloma in patients who have already received at least 2 therapies including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor, and has not improved during or within 60 days of completion of the last therapy. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age.
