Polaramine 2 Mg Tablet
Polaramine 2 Mg Tablet is an antihistamine drug that is prescribed for treating allergic reactions like hay fever and Urticaria. It is used for treating Perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, Vasomotor rhinitis, skin manifestations of Urticaria and Angioedema Dermographism, Allergic Conjunctivitis. Doctors might also prescribe it for adjunctive anaphylactic therapy.

How To Take
Take Polaramine 2 Mg Tablet exactly as directed by your doctor. If you do not understand these directions, ask your pharmacist, nurse, or doctor to explain them to you.
Take each dose with a full glass of water.
Polaramine 2 Mg Tablet can be taken with or without food.
Do not crush, chew, or break any timed-release forms of Polaramine 2 Mg Tablet. Swallow them whole. They are specially formulated to release slowly into your body.
To ensure that you get a correct dose, measure the syrup form of Polaramine 2 Mg Tablet with a special dose-measuring spoon or cup, not with a regular tablespoon. If you do not have a dose-measuring device, ask your pharmacist where you can get one.
Never take more of this medication than is prescribed for you. The regular-release tablets and the syrup are usually taken every 4 to 6 hours as needed (four to six times a day). The timed-release tablets and capsules are usually taken every 8 to 10 hours as needed (two or three times a day).

Warning
Pregnancy = Polaramine 2 Mg is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless strictly indicated. The benefits and risks should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine.
Breast-feeding = Polaramine 2 Mg is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless strictly indicated. The benefits and risks should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine.
Geriatric use = This medicine should be used with caution in individuals who are 60 years old and above due to an increased risk of dizziness, drowsiness, and low blood pressure. Appropriate dose adjustments should be made under your doctor’s supervision.
Pediatric use = Polaramine 2 Mg is not recommended for use in children under the age of 2 years due to the risk of serious side effects.
CNS depression = It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating heavy machinery while receiving this medicine since it increases the risk of drowsiness, dizziness, and difficulty with concentration.
Alcohol = It is advised that you do not consume alcohol with Polaramine 2 Mg Tablet due to an increase in the risk of side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty with concentration.
