Persol AC 2.5% Gel is a topical preparation used in the treatment of acne. It should be applied to the affected area once a day and increase the frequency gradually. Do not apply on an itchy or irritating skin. Avoid exposure to the sunlight.

How To Take

Persol AC 2.5 % Gel is generally used topically 1 to 2 times per day or as directed by a doctor. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patientscondition and their response to the therapy. It is advised to clean your hands and the affected area with a mild cleanser and patted dry with a towel prior to applying the gel. Spread a thin layer of the medication onto the affected area and gently rub it in until it disappears. Wash your hands immediately after applying the gel.

Warning

Pregnancy = Persol AC 2.5% Gel is recommended in pregnant women only if benefits overweigh the risks.

Breast-feeding = It is unknown whether this medicine is excreted through the breastmilk. It is recommended in breastfeeding women only if necessary. Avoid direct contact of this medicine with the baby.

Skin peeling = Persol AC 2.5% Gel may cause skin irritation initially when applied and characterized by peeling of the skin. This effect is not harmful and will be subsided within in 1 or 2 days when the treatment is stopped.

For external use = Persol AC 2.5% Gel is for external use only. Applied on the affected skin as recommended. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. Exposure to the sunlight should be avoided and use sunscreen lotion as required.

Skin irritation = Persol AC 2.5% Gel may increase the skin irritation, therefore, should not be used in patients with dry skin and skin irritation.
