Ledercort 4 Mg Tablet is a corticosteroid which is used to relieve symptoms such as swelling and pain in various conditions such as arthritis, skin disorders, and allergic disorders. The topical form of this medicine is used to treat symptoms such as redness, itching and swelling associated with various skin disorders such as eczema and dermatitis. This medicine should be used with caution in patients with diabetes and liver and kidney diseases.
Ledercort 4 Mg falls under a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It is used to treat a number of conditions such as lupus or breathing disorders or ulcerative colitis or psoriasis. It prevents the release of inflammation causing substances in the body.
On using Ledercort 4 Mg Tablet you may experience side effects such as swelling of facial features, rapid or irregular heartbeat, nausea, bloody stools, low potassium, seizures, mental/mood disorders, muscular and joint pain, stomach pain, acne, drying and discoloration of skin. If the reactions persist or continue to become worse over time, seek medical help as soon as possible.

How To Take
Take Ledercort 4 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ledercort 4 Mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Optic neuritis:-The use of oral corticosteroids is not recommended in the treatment of optic neuritis since it may lead to recurrent episodes.
Vaccination:-Administration of live or attenuated vaccines is not recommended in patients receiving immunosuppressive doses of this medicine due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. Your doctor may advise you an appropriate time gap between the administration of the vaccine and the medicine or suggest an alternative medicine or alternative means of vaccination based on your clinical condition.
Infections:-Ledercort 4 Mg is not recommended for use in patients suffering from systemic infections since it may worsen the patient's condition. Patients who are at risk of developing infections should be monitored closely during treatment with this medicine for any signs of infections. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.
Abrupt discontinuation:-Do not stop the use of this drug without consulting your doctor. Abrupt discontinuation may cause withdrawal symptoms such as drowsiness, confusion, headache, fever, etc.
