How To Take
Take Ismo 10 Mg by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually twice a day. Each day, take the first dose when you wake up, then take the second dose 7 hours later. It is important to take the drug at the same times each day. Do not change the dosing times unless directed by your doctor.
Use Ismo 10 Mg regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same times each day. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor. Some conditions may become worse when the drug is suddenly stopped. Your dose may need to be gradually decreased.

Use of Ismo 10 Mg can cause a fall in blood pressure in general and may make you feel dizzy especially while getting up from lying or sitting position (Postural hypotension).
The likelihood of development of drug tolerance is very high if this medicine is taken very regularly. A minimal amount of nitrate free time is required to avoid tolerance is 10-12 hr/day. The tolerance developed is in general for nitrates and may affect other medicines containing nitrates (cross-tolerance).
