Glypride 1 Mg is a long-acting oral anti-diabetic which lower the blood sugar level. It is used only in patients diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. It may be used along with Insulin or other medicines in order to achieve better control over the blood sugar levels. Glypride 1 Mg medicine, when taken along with a controlled diet and regular exercise routine, may give better results.

How to Take
Take Glypride 1 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glypride 1 Mgis to be taken with food.

Your doctor may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding or to discontinue the drug based on your clinical condition.
Glypride 1 Mg can cause moderate to severe lowering of blood glucose levels. The risks are even greater in elderly, malnourished, people with kidney and pituitary gland disorders. You should report any such incidence to the doctor. Carry a reliable source of glucose like sugar candy to counteract the effect of low blood sugar levels.
Use of Glypride 1 Mg should be discontinued in patients exposed to stressful conditions such as a fever, trauma, surgeries, or accidents since it may not be effective in controlling blood sugar levels in these conditions. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered under your doctor's supervision.
Glypride 1 Mg should be administered with caution in patients with a disorder of kidney and/or liver. Suitable dosage adjustments and monitoring of blood sugar levels are necessary in such cases.
Glypride 1 Mg is not recommended for use in patients with known history of allergy to Glypride 1 Mg Tablet or other drugs belonging to the Sulphonamide class of antidiabetic medicines.
