Foracort inhaler 200 is used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, asthma and allergic disorders. It relaxes the muscles in the airways thereby makes breathing easier.

Drug = Budesonide + Formoterol

Strength = 200 Mcg + 6 Mcg

How to Take

Check the label for directions before use. Shake the inhaler. While you are breathing in from mouth, press down on the inhaler one time to release Foracort inhaler 200  medicine and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Repeat until you have inhaled the number of puffs as suggested by the doctor.Afterwards, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out.

Foracort Inhaler 200 is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine. Your doctor may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding or to discontinue the medicine based on your clinical condition.

Foracort Inhaler 200 should be used with caution in patients with a known history of thyrotoxicosis or hyperthyroidism due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition. You may require a dose adjustment and more frequent clinical monitoring to safely use this medicine. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Foracort Inhaler 200 should be used with caution in patients with a known history of hypokalemia (low blood potassium levels) due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition. Close monitoring of potassium levels, appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases based on the clinical condition of the patient.
