FML Eye Drop
FML Eye Drop kills bacteria to treat different types of severe bacterial infections in the eye. It is not to be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or to another aminoglycoside antibiotic like gentamicin. If you have hearing, kidney, nerve problems, severe burns and dehydration, let your doctor know. Medicines like penicillin, imipenem, ceftizoxime decrease the effectiveness of FML Eye Drop when taken along with FML Eye Drop. On the other hand, medicines like cisplatin, colistin, cyclosporine, and fludarabine increase the side effects of FML Eye Drop.

How to take
Take FML Eye Drop in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

FML Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. Your doctor has prescribed FML Eye Drop to treat redness and swelling (inflammation) of the eye.Do not use FML Eye Drop for more than the prescribed duration as it may cause glaucoma or secondary infection.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
