Crisanta LS Tablet is a combination medicine used for oral contraception (prevention of pregnancy). Crisanta LS Tablet is also used for the treatment of acne vulgaris in women who desire oral contraception. Crisanta LS Tablet medicine is not recommended for use in patients yet to achieve menarche (the first occurrence of menstruation) and who are below 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy are not clinically established.
Crisanta LS Tablet is an oral contraceptive. Each pack consists of 24 tablets, and each tablet contains 3 mg of drospirenone (DRSP) and 0.02 mg of ethinylestradiol (EE).
Crisanta LS Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill. It works by preventing the release of egg (ovulation) and affecting sperm movement in the womb to prevent its union with the egg. It also changes the lining of the womb and renders it unsuitable for pregnancy.

How To Take
Take Crisanta LS Tablet medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Crisanta LS Tablet may be taken with or without food, but Crisanta LS Tablet is better to take it at a fixed time.

This Crisanta LS Tablet medicine should not be given to women having undiagnosed abnormal vaginal bleeding. Appropriate tests should be performed to rule out cancer in all cases of abnormal and persistent bleeding before treatment with Crisanta LS Tablet medicine is initiated.
