C-Nac Eye Drop
C-Nac Eye Drop is the main constituent of C-Nac 0.3% Eye Drops is obtained from cellulose and is used for the relief of burning, itching, the discomfort of eyes caused due to dryness or exposure to the sun or the wind.A senile cataract is caused by the nuclear matter of the elderly human lens hardening and taking on a yellowish/brown colour. Once this occurs there is obvious vision impairment and deterioration. The term 'senile' is used because this disease primarily affects people aged 50 and over.
C-Nac Eye Drop is a combination of three medicines: Carboxymethylcellulose, Glycerin and n-acetylcarnosine which treat dry eyes. Carboxymethylcellulose and Glycerin are lubricants. They work similar to natural tears and provide temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye. n-acetylcarnosine is is an antioxidant which prevents the formation of cataracts in the eye.

How to take
Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Pregnancy - C-Nac Eye Drop medicine can be used by pregnant women.
Breast-feeding - C-Nac Eye Drop medicine can be used by breastfeeding women.
External use - C-Nac Eye Drop medicine should be used for external applications alone. Internal consumption can lead to harmful side effects.
Blurring of vision - C-Nac Eye Drop medicine can cause temporary blurring of vision and hence you should refrain from driving or using heavy machinery immediately after applying it.
C-Nac Eye Drop medicine is used for the temporary relief of burning, irritation, pricking sensation of the eyes due to ryness. it medicine is also used as an eye protectant to prevent any further irritation.It medicine is for external use only.
