Alfusin D Tablet
Alfusin D Tablet is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), found in men with an enlarged prostate. It acts as an alpha blocker by blocking the receptors in the urinary tract and causing the smooth muscles in the region to relax. This helps to promote better urine flow and a reaction in the symptoms of BPH.

How To Take
Take Alfusin D Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alfusin D Tablet is to be taken with food.

Pregnancy = Alfusin D Tablet is not indicated for use in female patients.
Breast-feeding = Alfusin D Tablet is not indicated for use in female patients.
Postural hypotension = Caution is advised while using Alfusin D Tablet due to the increased risk of postural hypotension. Patients are advised to get up slowly from a sitting or a lying position to avoid fainting and falling due to a sudden drop in the blood pressure. Report any symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, or drowsiness to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments may be necessary based on the clinical condition.
Severe renal impairment = Alfusin D Tablet should be used with extreme caution in patients with severe renal impairment (CrCl less than 30 ml/min) due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. Appropriate dose adjustments should be made based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Women and Children = Alfusin D Tablet is not indicated for use in women and children.
Priapism = Alfusin D Tablet may rarely cause a very painful erection which may not subside (priapism). Seek immediate medical attention if this happens. If priapism is not treated, it may lead to impotence.
